Cherry Collagen Gummies

These tart cherry gummies are packed with skin, hair, and joint-supporting benefits from Garden of Life Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides and are a simple, delicious way to promote a good night’s sleep.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Whisk together cherry juice, lime zest & juice, agave, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan.

  2. Sprinkle gelatin over the mixture and let it sit for 2 minutes (do not stir yet).

  3. Turn heat to low-medium and gently whisk until the gelatin starts dissolving. Do not let the mixture boil!

  4. Add collagen powder and continue whisking slowly until fully dissolved and smooth.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before straining into gummy moulds.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until fully set.

  7. Carefully remove from moulds and store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to enjoy.

 

Vegan Alternative:

Swap gelatin for 2 tsp agar agar (a ½ to ⅓ substitute for gelatin). Bring the mixture to a simmer before adding agar agar at the last moment. Stir well, then quickly pour into moulds, as it sets faster than gelatin. Refrigerate as usual before enjoying!
